Install CLIHelixor Code

Install Helixor Code

Create your account in the browser, then connect your computer.

1. Create an account

Open the signup form, verify your email, and choose a password. Already registered? Sign in.

2. Install the CLI

You need Python 3.11 or later and pipx. Install pipx for your operating system, run pipx ensurepath, then open a new terminal.

pipx install helixor
helixor --version

Already installed? Run pipx upgrade helixor.

3. Connect your account and source folders

helixor production login
helixor init
helixor doctor

Use the account you created above. Setup asks which source folders to use and configures the local companion and agent integrations. Production and development use separate accounts and environments.

Can I sign up from the terminal?

The CLI provides helixor signup for interactive email-code signup. It requires the generated onboarding SDK and a secure OS keyring. The public package distribution is not yet complete: if that SDK is unavailable, use the web signup form and password login above. Installing the CLI alone does not prove email signup is ready.

Account signup and enterprise licensing

Creating an account does not grant an enterprise entitlement. For an approved enterprise installation, review the terms first:

helixor license review
helixor license accept
helixor license show

Acceptance explicitly records your agreement and returns a server receipt; it is not evidence that every enterprise capability is enabled. The web signup checkbox is not an enterprise license receipt. A dedicated web license-acceptance flow is not available here yet.
